Michael Angelo Tango, Jr.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Michael Angelo Tango, Jr. on September 15, 2026, at the age of 85. Born in Newark, NJ to Michael Angelo Tango & Rose (nee Spinelli), he resided in Fairfield, NJ with his family.

Michael was a proud U.S. Army veteran who served at Fort Dix, New Jersey before being honorably discharged in 1968. He found joy in his passions for fishing, hunting, race cars, and boating. He shared countless cherished moments with his beloved wife, Veronica, family, and friends at Yankee Lake, their RV in upstate New York, and their shore house in Toms River, NJ. His exhilarating adventures with his boat, “Tango and Cash,” will forever remain treasured memories.

In honor of Michael's life, a Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 11AM at St. Thomas More Church. Family and friends are invited to attend to celebrate the life of a remarkable man who devoted his years to creating lasting memories with loved ones.

Beloved husband of Veronica Tango. Loving father of Deborah Aulisi & her husband Edward, Michele Keefe, Tobi Tango, David Michael Tango & his wife Traci, Jaclyn Panzarino & her husband James. Cherished grandfather of Lauren Collier & her husband Austin, Vienna Aulisi, James Panzarino, Jr. & his wife Gabriella, Chloe Christen, Brendan Keefe & his wife Gianna, Ava Aulisi, Michael Angelo Panzarino & his wife Ryan, Vincent Panzarino, Samantha Tango, Sabrina Tango, and Joseph Panzarino. Dear brother of Kathleen Tango Eaton & her husband William.

As we gather to remember Michael, we invite all who knew and loved him to join us in honoring his legacy and sharing stories that reflect the incredible life he lived.
