To ensure that all members get a chance to use our beautiful sports court, we’ve created some dedicated times for our most popular uses, and also created “open play” for those who may have some other use in mind.

All times not listed above are “open play,” which means that any YLPA member may use the court for any game/activity of their choosing, provided that they do not chalk the court. During any “open play” time, if a new group arrives and a group is already playing, the existing group has up to one hour to relinquish the court to the new group.

Those using the court must park cars, trucks and ATVs in the parking lot directly across North Shore Drive from the Sports Court. Only if there is a valid handicap parking pass may users of the sports court park in one of the spaces directly in front of the Clubhouse. Under no circumstances shall court users park along the shoulder of North Shore Drive. This is to provide sufficient road space for emergency vehicles, including firetrucks, to quickly and safely pass in front of the Clubhouse.

Although there is no charge for the use of the court, this is not a public court! Use of the court is for dues paid-up members and their guests only. Guests must be accompanied at all times by a YLPA dues paid-up member.
